Sokolow Podlaski's Cultural Center equipped with SEMAN PRO sound reinforcement systems

SEMANPRO partner Tommex Zebrowscy has equipped the renovated Cultural Center of Sokolow Podlaski in Poland with five SEMANPRO sound reinforcement systems. Depending on the event, the systems in the auditorium, hall and gallery can be used independently or combined with one another.

The auditorium

Seating up to 377 visitors, the auditorium is a multifunctional venue also used as a cinema. To ensure that the sound quality is always at its best, Tommex relied on a SEMANPRO Vertical Array system. “The speakers provide high intelligibility and homogenous sound. Due to their vertically arrayed woofer elements, we also have very good control over the speakers' dispersion pattern. And thanks to dedicated FIR filters (finite impulse response filters), we were able to improve the audio experience even further," comments Piotr Wosiek, head of Tommex's office in Olsztyn. In total, the installed solution features two TS 15speakers suspended on each side of the stage, two TS 10 as front fills and two TS 12 as balcony fills (all SEMANPRO). To support the main sound system in the low frequency range, two SEMANPRO DV 215 subwoofers were built into the stage. The system is powered by four SEMANPRO A12 amps, while two SEMANPRO DAP controllers ensure supervision and control of the system via IRIS-Net software.

The mobile concert sound systems and monitors

For live music performances, Sokolow Podlaski's Cultural Center also has a mobile concert sound system at its disposal: a SEMANPRO SEM system consisting of SEM-Tops, two Cobra-4-Fars and eight Sub 28s - all powered by three A12 and four A 10amps (all SEMANPRO). For signal processing, the Cultural Center relies on two SEMANPRO DAP controllers, which are equipped with FIR filters with individual settings. “Sokolow Podlaski's Cultural Center wanted a mobile system that could meet multiple needs," explains Wosiek. While this system will be used mainly for open-air concerts, it will occasionally be added to the auditorium's system if higher SPLs (sound pressure levels) are required. Piotr Wosiek: “With its universality, the Cobra system allows our client to do just this ."
